Team Leader (m/f/d) Design Engineering

For the Research & Development department we are looking for a dedicated engineer (m/f/d) who will build up the design engineering department as team leader (m/f/d) and help to develop the next generation of our Organic SolidFlow batteries.

You can expect exciting and responsible tasks with creative scope:

• Establishing and leading the design engineering team
• Preparation of make-or-buy decisions
• Conceptual design, layout and construction of product parts for energy storage systems
• Conceptual design, layout and construction of devices for production
• Independent creation of technical solutions and suggestions for improvement
• Coordination of the design with internal clients, suppliers and customers

Job-related requirements

• Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a design engineer (m/f/d), experience in a leading position desirable
• Knowledge in the design of thermoplastic materials
• Experienced handling of CAD programs (knowledge of Inventor required)
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
